Administrative Staff

Phyllis Campbell

Principal at Chapel Hill Christian School. She is a native of Douglas County, and graduated from Douglas County High School. Her husband Lee and she have three grown children and nine grandchildren. Mrs. Campbell has worked in Christian Education in Douglas County since 1984 as both a teacher and an administrator. She holds a BS in Home Economics and Early Childhood Education as well as her Masters’ Degree in Educational Administration.

Cathy Hill

CHCS Office Administrator, is from Lithia Springs, Georgia. Mrs. Hill is married to Matt Hill and has two children, Megan and Ethan. She has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Lee University and 20 years experience in Marketing Management and Administration.

Jennifer Abley

Infant, Toddler and Two’s Program Director, is originally from Lake Orion, Michigan. She is married to Craig Abley and they have four children, Keegan, Haidyn, Logahn, and Elizah. Mrs. Abley has eight years experience as a Program Director, as well as experience as a teacher, and in an in-home childcare setting.

Nicole Spearman

Director of Development, is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She has a Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law and a Certificate in Grant Writing from Emory University. She is married to Chad Spearman and is the mother of Dallas, Arlington and Irving.

Nikki Nguyen

is from Columbus, Georgia. She is married with one son. Mrs. Nguyen has an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and 12 years teaching experience.

Dana Davidson

is from Douglasville, Georgia, received her Bachelor’s of Science in Education from the University of West Georgia and her certification to teach K4 through 5th grade in 2009. She has taught Kindergarten for 4 years and has worked with children for 12 years. Mrs. Davidson is married to Gavin and they have a daughter named Ashlynn.

1st Grade

Donna Shuster

She loves teaching and feels God has called her to teach and share the Gospel with children. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Appalachian State University and has taught 1st grade for 18 years. Mrs. Shuster is from North Carolina. She is married to Pat, has a daughter, Caroline, a son, Adam, who is in the Navy, and a granddaughter, Kayla.

Jamie Boemer

has a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication. Mrs. Boemer, from Alabaster, AL, is married to Hank Boemer and has three children, Tres, Bryant and Ava Sophia.

Sabrina Luckie

is from Queens, New York. Mrs. Luckie has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. She is married to Joshua Luckie and has two daughters, Sydnee and Syniah. Mrs. Luckie teaches to inspire and touch the lives of children.

Daphne Wilson

a native New Orleanian, is married with 3 children… 4 including her German shepherd. Ms. Wilson has a BS in Information Technology, Graphic and Web Design, and a MA in Human Services, with a Marriage and Family concentration. She is currently enrolled in a teacher certification preparation program to become a certified teacher. Ms. Wilson is passionate about technology and looks forward to helping the children learn and explore new and interesting ways to use technology.

Chaille Brown

originally from Texas, graduated from Texas A & M University with a degree in Speech Communications and Marketing and with a Secondary Education degree to teach Speech and English. Mrs. Brown felt called to teach and be a part of the CHCS family. She is married to Bradd Brown and has two children, Spencer and Carson.

Debbie Hitch

grew up in Atlanta. She is married to Wayne Hitch and they have a son, Matt, and daughter-in-love, Eryn. Mrs. Hitch has worked in Christian education for 20 years and believes this is where God wants her to be. She also states that it is a privilege to have a small part in laying a foundation of Christian values and academic excellence to the ones who have been entrusted to us to educate.

Donna Chastain

originally from Atlanta, Georgia, lives in Douglasville with her two amazing daughters. Ms. Bass received an Associate’s degree from The Portfolio Center of Atlanta for advertising, photography, graphic design and art.  She is also self-taught in designing children’s murals.

Courtney Ballance

is from Atlanta, Georgia. She is happily married and has two children. Mrs. Lucas has a Child Development Associate Certification and is currently enrolled in American Public University for an Associate’s degree in Elementary Education. She has four years experience in childcare.

Julie Stephens

is from Douglasville, Georgia. She is married with three children and is here because God has big plans for her life. She loves children, Christian education and teaching.  Mrs. Stephens has her Child Development Associate Certification and has worked with children for 13 years.

Briana (Bree) Gaddis

is from Hiram, Georgia. Mrs. Gaddis has a Child Development Associate Certification. She is married to Mitchell Gaddis and they have two children.

Doris Biddy

was born and raised in Georgia. She believes she was called for “such a time as this,” when she was only 10 years old. Mrs. Biddy is married to Bro. James Biddy, has four daughters and sons-in-law, nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.  She has a Child Development Associate Certification and has over 30 years of teaching experience.

Joshulyn James

is married with two children – Noah who is 8 years old and Kolette who is 17 months. They are originally from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area and have been in Georgia for seven years.  Mrs. James earned a CDA for infant and toddler care and education, and has a total of four years experience caring for young children. She considers it a blessing to be able to influence children for Christ on a daily basis!

Keshia Driskell

is from Hiram, Georgia. She loves working with children and teaching them about God. Ms. Driskell is currently attending college for Elementary Education.

Marlene Poore

was born in North Carolina and raised in Georgia.  She believes she was always called to work with children and she loves the children because they are truly a gift from God. Mrs. Poore has 21 years of experience in childcare.

Zelei Vaka

is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii. Mrs. Vaka is married with two children and has seven years experience in childcare.

Cynthia Moss

is a Georgia native. Mrs. Moss is married with four children. She attended Kennesaw State for two years and is here because she is felt led by God to CHCS after 17 years as a paraprofessional in Cobb County.

from Fort Worth, Texas, has four children and 33 years experience in childcare. She is here because she loves working with children and she believes it is her gift from God.

Marlene Chong

is from Peru. Mrs. Chong has a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a CDA, training certificates in Preschool Science, Positive Discipline, Math and Stories, and 16 years of teaching experience. She is married to Jesus A. Chong and has one son, Jesus J. Chong.

Tayana English

Tayana English is from Georgia. She is a graduate of West Georgia Technical College and has 10 years experience in childcare. Ms. English is at CHCS to love, care and nurture the children, as well as to teach them about Christ.

Pamela Mickens

is originally from New York. Mrs. Mickens holds a Liberal Arts degree and a Child Development Associate Certification. She has 10 years experience and loves working with children in order to see them reach their full potential in the classroom. Mrs. Mickens is married to Raymond Mickens and has two children, Rayven and Jasmine.

Jenny Poore

is from Paulding, Georgia, is married to Joshua Poore. She has one son, James Jacobs. Ms. Jacobs began working with children in the summer of 2015 and believes she was led by God to join CHCS.

Denise Barnes

is originally from Georgia. She has one son, Darrion, and was led by God to be here at CHCS. She holds a Technical Certificate of Credit as a Child Development Specialist and has four years experience in childcare.

is at CHCS because of her love of children. She has nine children and over 50 years experience in childcare, including having a home day care, as a foster parent and in service at the Church at Chapelhill Kids’ Space.

is from Rock Hill, South Carolina and has one daughter. Ms. Capps has an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Care and a certificate as a Child Development Specialist. She also has a certificate in Infant and Toddler Curriculum, as well as a Technical Childcare Certificate in Early Childhood. She has 10 years experience in childcare and is here at CHCS in order to be able to teach in a Christian environment.

Glenna James

our Music teacher and Librarian, is originally from Douglasville, Georgia, and is a graduate of Bryan College, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Vocal and General Music. Ms. Gibbs loves to be in a place where she can teach about God’s love through music.

Donna Chastain

Billy Anderson

is a graduate from Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education. Mr. Anderson taught and coached at Greenforest Christian Academy for 12 years and is in his 3rd year with CHCS. He is also the Teen Director at the Douglas County Boys and Girls Club. “Empowering youth to be successful is a gift from God.” I will press toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Karen Smith

a native and resident of Douglasville, Georgia has been cooking since she was 20 years old at Cobb General Hospital. Ms. Smith is married and the mother of three kids, two college graduates and one currently in undergrad. She has one grandchild who attends Chapel Hill Christian School. She was able to continue pursuing her passion for cooking when she joined CHCS in 2009 and has been here doing what she loves ever since.
